Protecting yourself online: internet security tips

Post by chromancy »

This article that was posted to the TwoXPreppers sub is a good start: https://www.wired.com/story/the-wired-g ... veillance/

Other tips:

- for the love of all things stop putting your personal info out there in your profiles/bios/etc.
- also stop with posting selfies, at this point all images online are getting fed into databases and AI generators
- don't use the same passwords for multiple sites
- when possible, use different usernames for different places/purposes
